Mental Health Counseling

Mental health counseling works to help restore a state of well-being and provide the tools in order to cope with various struggles that life can bring. Having someone else to talk to other than a family member can provide a sense of comfort especially when dealing with emotional distress. Counselors will work closely with the clients and their parents/ guardians in order to provide the best possible tools in order to be able to create a plan for success in order to ameliorate this emotional distress or behavior problems. This would include but is not limited to, behavior modification, de-escalation techniques, and school success. Counselors will also work with parents for parent training in order to continue the treatment plan while in the home. The ultimate goal of counseling is to establish mental equilibrium in order to live the best life possible.

Appointments

We require a physician referral before we can begin the treatment process. Once we have received your physician's referral, one of our in-take coordinators will contact you to get started.

Comprehensive

Once we have received the referral from your physician we will set up an appointment for your child to be evaluated by a highly trained, licensed therapist. Please allow at least 60 minutes for this appointment.
